Law Office of Caroline R. Suissa-Edmiston, LL.M., LLC

Affordable Expert Estate Planning
Caroline R. Suissa-Edmiston has an LL.M. in taxation from the University of Washington and has been practicing in estate planning, probate, family law, and real estate transactions for over ten years, six of them with her own solo office.  She served as a judicial extern for King County Superior Court and continues to work with retired judge's in their dispute resolution businesses.  She has conducted major legal research projects for private companies and for law school professors, resulting in the publication of updated versions of the Washington State Community Property Deskbook, Washington Law of Wills and Intestate Succession, and the King County Bar Association's Guardian Manual.   She has also prepared materials for and taught at numerous legal seminars for both legal professionals and lay persons.

Ms. Suissa-Edmiston is passionate about helping clients understand their rights and responsibilities.  From her practice, she has developed the skill of conducting thorough and probing interviews in order to ensure that she has a complete and accurate picture of her clients' positions, finances and personal goals.  Because a significant portion of her work is estate planning for non-traditional couples, her clients' circumstances are typically more complex and require more creative planning solutions. This area involves a lot of cutting edge law and quickly changing landscapes.   She takes particular pride in being able to communicate complex legal ideas and policies to those with advanced legal understanding as well as to those without.  Her clients have been very vocal about how pleased they are with her ability to answer their questions both verbally and in letters.

Ms. Suissa-Edmiston is a member of the Washington State Bar Association; the King County Bar Association; and the Greater Seattle Business Association.

Ms. Suissa-Edmiston is active in the community, especially with King County Animal Services for whom she fosters dogs.  Please check out the foster puppy page to see if there are any available for adoption.
